Vogler Sheet Metal's story began in Houston, Texas, in 1904.

What started as a sheet metal company more than a century ago has grown and evolved alongside Houston and the Texas construction industry. Through generations of change in materials, technology, building systems, and construction methods, the Vogler name has remained rooted in craftsmanship, quality, and dependable service.

That foundation continues to define the company today.

A Company Built on the Sheet Metal Trade

Long before today's sophisticated architectural metal wall systems and high-performance commercial roofing assemblies, sheet metal work depended heavily on the skill of the craftsman.

Components were measured, formed, fitted, and fabricated by hand. A company's reputation depended on the quality of the finished product and the people who produced it.

Those principles became part of Vogler Sheet Metal's identity and have remained with the company for more than 120 years.

As the construction industry evolved, so did Vogler.

Traditional sheet metal work expanded into increasingly sophisticated commercial roofing, architectural sheet metal, and exterior metal wall panel systems, allowing the company to take on larger and more complex projects.

A New Chapter

In 2012, James Kaiser acquired Vogler Sheet Metal, beginning the next chapter in the company's history.

The goal was not to replace what had made Vogler successful for more than a century, but to build upon it.

Since the acquisition, Vogler has made significant investments in its people, equipment, technology, manufacturing capabilities, and facilities, transforming a historic Houston sheet metal company into a modern commercial roofing and architectural metal contractor capable of executing projects at significant scale.

At the same time, the principles on which the company built its reputation - craftsmanship, integrity, relationships, and standing behind our work—remain unchanged.

Combining Craftsmanship With Modern Manufacturing

Today's Vogler Sheet Metal looks very different from the shop that opened its doors in 1904.

Modern automated fabrication equipment, digital design and production processes, specialized construction equipment, and sophisticated roofing and wall panel systems have changed how the work is performed.

But technology has not replaced craftsmanship.

Instead, Vogler has combined the knowledge of experienced tradesmen with modern manufacturing and construction technology to improve precision, consistency, productivity, and quality.

Our in-house fabrication capabilities and self-performing field operations give us control over a project from fabrication through final installation—continuing the same tradition of accountability that began with the company's earliest sheet metal craftsmen.

More Than a Century Later, We're Still Building

More than 120 years after Vogler Sheet Metal was founded, the company continues to grow.

Today, Vogler performs major commercial roofing and architectural metal wall panel projects throughout Texas and beyond and has been recognized as the #44 roofing contractor in the nation on Roofing Contractor's Top 100 list.

The size of the projects, equipment, technology, and materials may have changed dramatically since 1904.
